An issue tree is a tool made popular by the McKinsey consulting firm. They use it to tackle their clients’ toughest problems. It looks a lot like a scientific method: observe the problem, collect all relevant evidence, develop hypotheses about why the problem exists, and then test your hypotheses.
You can apply it to your content strategy, too.
